No matter where you travel , at home , or abroad there are always firsts. Things that you have not seen, or done before in your life.
My brother Vincent is visiting me again for the third time from England… well Guernsey actually where he lives . Its a long way to travel and only for one week but the fact that he comes is just so wonderful.
So his first , on this travel, was to see the revolution parade in Santa Elena . After his long trip I went to pick him up at the Merida airport…. for sure if you live in this area, you are bound to meet someone you know, meeting a friend or a loved one. I did, my very good friend Nancy , who just happens to share the same birthday as I, was waiting for a friend.
The next morning at 6.30 a.m , we were down to see the parade . I did nt stay too long as we had a full house and had to return to help with breakfast.Vincent stayed a little longer and enjoyed himself immensley .I really thought it was wonderful that they included the People of the third age to participate in the parade
A couple of days rest for Vincent and catching up on work for me then we were ready for another first for him and also for me.
I will continue in another post .
